METALLUX.DE ROTARY SENSORS IN VERSATILE APPLICATION

What do the program selectors on washing machines, the headlight and windshield wiper settings in the car have in common? Right! In order to be able to determine a setting, one must operate a rotary knob or lever. But what technology is behind the buttons? A small rotary sensor is used in these applications. The measurement of the angle of rotation works via the non-contact Hall effect. The non-contact measurement takes place via a magnet. The advantage of these sensors lies in their wear-free use. There is no need for a grinder to scan the position on the sensor. In addition, a sensor with a Hall effect works reliably even in the event of a power failure. If there is a voltage drop and the position is changed, for example by turning, the set position is reliably output. It is not necessary to read a reference point again.

The Metallux.de rotary sensors POH 120 and HMS 220 with their small and robust design are ideal for use in angle measurement. Their long service life and freely programmable angles speak for themselves.
